A haven for Italian dishes, imported wines, and baked breads arrives in Boston’s Seaport District next week. Restaurateur Joe Faro opens a new location of
on Monday, November 20, in a new development complex in the ever-growing neighborhood. The expansive restaurant fills each of its 14,000 square feet with warm wood accents, plush seating, and white tablecloths.
Situated on the second floor of the One Seaport development
(64 Seaport Blvd.)
, Tuscan Kitchen’s 300-seat, sun-soaked dining room overlooks Downtown Boston. With three existing locations — one in Burlington, Massachusetts, and two in New Hampshire (Salem and Portsmouth) — this is the fourth Tuscan Kitchen location. Tuscan Kitchen will be serving an array of pasta, bread, and gelato, along with crudo and other seafood dishes, meaty entrees, and more. The menu includes a shaved truffle pasta (covered with truffles tableside, of course) and a 48-ounce dry-aged porterhouse for two, as well as meat and cheese boards.
On the drinks side, there’s a selection of cocktails, plus more than 400 Italian wines in the restaurant’s wine cellar. The restaurant space includes an 80-foot wine bar, plus an espresso bar and a separate private dining space that spans around 2,000 square feet.
“It’s so exciting to see all that’s happening in the Seaport and we are beyond thrilled to be part of this neighborhood’s renaissance,” Faro said in a release. Other recent openings in the neighborhood include some large venues (
