Philippe Hoerle-Guggenheim was raised in the former German capital city of Bonn, where he was exposed to the creative arts through his maternal grandmother, a noted antique and art collector, as well as his mother. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and went on to work as a financial analyst for Ernst & Young as well as The Hyatt Corporation.

Philippe stayed tethered to the art world throughout his finance career by hosting events for artists in the US and Europe and an eventual advisory role in the secondary art market would introduce him to the possibility of joining his passion and business acumen.

Amy Whitaker is an assistant professor at NYU Steinhardt, and author of the book

Her current research focuses on what would happen if artists retained equity in artworks in the primary market, and the ways in which blockchain technology could support new systems for art investment and for pay for creative labor outside the arts. Since 2015, Amy has advised the company Bitmark, a blockchain-based registry of authenticity. Amy has spoken widely, including at the Aspen Ideas Festival, Google, and the Fast Company Innovation Summit. She holds an MBA from Yale and an MFA in painting from the Slade, as well as an undergraduate degree from Williams College in political science. She has worked previously at D.E. Shaw & Co., L.P. and Locus Analytics, and as an Olin Fellow in Economics at Yale and a researcher for Jonathan Zittrain in internet law at Harvard. In the mid 90’s he was amongst the pioneer wave of 1st generation developers building the World Wide Web. In the late 2000’s he entered the Mobile space, creating and developing iPhone apps for both the Joffrey Ballet and The Washington Ballet as well as consulting on numerous inter-Enterprise iOS App projects. At the same time, he founded iOS Learning Labs, a boutique iOS Training & Consultancy agency, delivering onsite trainings and workshops worldwide to clients such as eBay, Cisco, and Intel among others.

Since 2015 Sherone has been active in the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain space, trading in cryptocurrencies and consulting businesses on how to incorporate Blockchain technology into their workflow and day-to-day operations.
