Omega 3’s help provides better cell membrane receptor activity and suppress genetic transcription factors associated with inflammation and pain.

It is important to get the long-chain omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA which only come from an animal (fish, krill and pasture-raised meats) and algae.  Plant-based omega 3’s will not have the same inflammation-modulating effects.
