Make Money Online 2019: How To Elevate Your Business and Make Money On Social Media
Although organic traffic has been the most income generating activity on the internet for years, Social Media is becoming the most sought after traffic and lead generation platform so to speak.
In fact, there was a time when Facebook had over powered Google once – when it comes to traffic.
Social media has its own place.
Taking a slice of the traffic pie is a bit of a challenge.
Especially there are loads of Social Media networks that you need to spend your time on.
Each has their own ways of dominating their platform … time also would be your worse enemy.
Unless, if you can come up with a new strategy.
Here on this article are more ways you can utilise the power of Social Media and how you can elevate your business.
If you want to make money on social media, you’ll want to take notes from social entrepreneur and cultural curator Michell C. Clark.
In our last conversation with him, Clark shared his journey on becoming an established social entrepreneurship.
And now, we are sharing ways that you can make money on social media as a follow-up to that conversation before we head to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the Entrepreneurs Summit to dive deeper into the subject.
“Some of the first steps are: getting a strong sense of self, what you bring to the table, and how that can help a specific group of people,” says Clark.
People are attracted to people on social media, which means that they are invested in you.
And, your influence as an individual is what can compel someone to take an actionable step toward making a purchase of some sort.
Learning your audience is essential to building your brand or presenting products and services online.
Clark says that once you have an understanding of who your audience is, you can then begin to figure out what it is that you can build based on their needs.
Do research on your key personas and what platform you’re most likely to find and engage with them on.
From there you will be able to establish your voice and possibly be able to leverage your audience when forming partnerships with organizations and sponsors.
Clark’s unique voice and style online have helped him gain a strong following, which has allowed him to cultivate strategic and corporate partnerships.
“Going the company partnership route is a viable stream–so being able to reach out to a company and say, ‘I can do a, b, and c,’ is my selling point.
I’ve been able to build my audience, so a big part of my selling point is I’ve been able to give them a degree of exposure that will benefit them if their audience is a part of my niche.”
Consistency is key for a number of reasons, but here are two. Number one, people follow you or your brand for a reason.
And, because they have chosen to invest in you by following you, it is important to post regularly and be as loyal as they are to you.
Secondly, every social media platform has an algorithm.
And if you do not post regularly, there is a possibility that your content can go unseen by a good number of your audience members when you do decide to post.
Here are three ways that using your influence on social media can help you build, connect, and elevate your brand or business:

Creative and artistic types have skills that can not only lead to a robust salary, but a considerable side hustle.
While there are more defined (hence narrow) career paths for STEM graduates, such as engineering, than let’s say for a literature or philosophy major, the career options for creatives are as broad as the earning range — even for those within the same major, says Ryan Nunn, an author of a 2017 report from the Brookings Institute.
Not surprisingly, the earning potential amongst liberal arts majors very much boils down to career choice.
For instance, psychology majors who become psychologists start out earning about $49,000 a year.
However, psychology majors that become counselors start out with a median salary of just $37,000.
If a single job doesn’t pay enough to cover your needs, or you simply think like an entrepreneur and want to establish multiple income streams, technology and the internet have provided avenues for creatives and liberal arts majors to pursue various streams of income using digital platforms.
