How To Recondition A Car Battery?
When your vehicle’s battery gets dead, you should remove it from the car to begin its reconditioning process. Start by removing the caps from the battery. Pour some distilled water into the battery and let it charge for about an hour. Ensure that there are some bubbles on the open spaces. If not, then reverse both the wires and wait until the bubbles emerge.
Next step is to reverse the wires again to their correct position. Let the battery get charged for few more hours. If your car battery is extremely old and dead, then you may have to replace the acid inside it. This can be done easily by making some amendments in the reconditioning process. In the beginning, instead of adding distilled water, mix acid to the water and then add it in the battery. Voila! Your car’s battery has been reconditioned!
How To Recondition A Laptop Battery?
If you have a NiMH or NiCad battery in your laptop, then a simplest way to recondition is by plugging it and allowing the battery to get fully charged. Start working on your laptop after two hours and let the battery drain out completely. Once done, the laptop will automatically shut down. Let the laptop cool down for about 4 to 5 hours. Plug in again and allow the battery to charge completely. Ensure that your device is turned off at the time of charging. As soon as the battery gets charged completely, you can switch on the laptop and start working. By using this simple method, you will be able to recondition your laptop battery effortlessly.
How To Recondition A Hybrid Battery?
If your car has a hybrid battery then you need to remove it and clip with the conditioning device. Ensure that the device is connected with a laptop or computer. The resistance of the battery can be tested by taking a power test. With the help of a discharger, you can remove the energy from the battery. Remember to check the amount of energy that is stored in each cell of the battery pack.
The reason for keeping a check on this is that you need to put same amount of energy back in the battery by using a charger. Keep an eye on the computer screen as you can know the exact manner in which each module of the battery is performing as well as its effects on the vehicle. This method of reconditioning will eliminate the resistance barrier, which was the main culprit for stopping the battery from getting charged completely.
Now that you have learnt how to recondition batteries, use these tricks for charging your devices completely and enhancing the overall performance of the vehicle or gadget. Once they get fully charged, the battery of your car or device will perform just like new! Cool, isn’t it?
